The VOID WALLET is the transparent funding engine at the heart of the SmokinCat Mental Health Mural Project.
In Chapter 1: “Hands of Truth,” 12 murals will be created — each inspired by an individual’s lived experience with a specific mental health condition. But the mural itself isn’t the only focus. It’s the artists behind the condition who are the real fuel.
Every time the VOID WALLET reaches £600, £500 worth of SMCT is distributed equally to five artists who live with the condition represented in the next mural — including the portrait subject themselves. This isn’t just financial support — it’s recognition, empowerment, and community.
Each cycle begins with a £100 seed from artist Marc Craig, and grows through community support. The mural itself is funded separately — through the sale of 20 limited edition prints of the digital portrait that inspires the wall.
This way, art fuels the story — but crypto funds the people behind it.
